Internet-Curse or Blessing for Teenagers

" INTERNET CURSE OR BLESSING FOR TEENAGERS"

Internet has brought immense source of information closer to kids, the world seems like a global information sharing community, but all that information has robbed the kids of simple joys and innocence, not to mention brought about an era of cyber crimes or crimes against kids brought about with the help of internet....what do you think ....has it helped the kids or made them more vunerable to a new dark world.

Everything has both good and bad sides. I don't think its reasonable to think about the bad sides only and make decisions based on that as long as the bad sides don't outweigh the good sides. In the case of the internet, the bad sides haven't outweighed the good sides of the technology! :)

The number one threat of net is not even credit card hacking ..it has always been chatting. Specially for those underage people. They trust strangers from net too much. They give personal info. They meet the people they know from net. They give too much importance in net life. Thus they get addicted and sometime get involved in dangerous situation.
A number of website keeping the underage and teenagers people safe from being a victim of all these are available in net. Take a look at them and you will know how this chatting is behind 99% percent of the accidents :!:

Hehehe. True that. If internet didn't exist today...I would have been doing my assignment right now! :roll: And I appear offline most of the time on msn. Coz ekbar sign-in kora maaney 3-4 hours flying by! :-)

well, CHATTING ............... it kills 2222222222222222 much time ........ i realize it but cant leave it, thats da only 1 thing i've been doing over last 4 yrs & now it has bcome a dirty habit. this is undeniably the worst effect of INTERNET :x :x :x
