your special person has a disease

it has been great, You guys know each other for lets say 6 months and you know that she/he is the right person. both are established and doing great in jobs. you guys plan to get married soon (some may argue but lets say you have made the decision ). what if one day you find out that your special person has a disease that is not curable. lets say aids, cancer? what would you do ? will you still marrry him/her? or just turn into a sweet friendship as that will be a hastle.?

I think there is a mistake in the name of the diseases. Diabetes isn't as serious as the other two. And it is indeed a very complicated questions. The answer depends on a lot of factors. Factors that can only be taken into account during the exact situation. But after trying hard to imagine, I guess I will keep loving her (if we are indeed in deep love) but not turn the relationship into anything formal...as in get married or something like that...for the good of both of us!

Off topic: if you have diabetes, your life expectancy gets lowered by 15 years. can you tell me the cure of it? we bangladeshis are not health concerned at all , as cancer is also a mamuli to us.

anyway..if its diabetes.. its normal to me.. amar tui khalar diabetes ase.. and they are still living.. over 50 both of them.. just sugar control korle, its a normal thing...if its aids or cancer.. : :roll: .. then i am not sure..! most likely i wont go for marriage...:(

C_J i also knw dat staying besides and getting married wid dat person is not at all same. but we can atleast mentally support dem. and the marriage depends on how much fearful desease he is suffering frm. if its like curable den ill get married wid him and just try my best to make him like before. but.... if the desease is non curable den maybe my parents will never want him as my life partner no matter how much i want.
