we.. i wont be here on Eid. Im leaving on 29th for singapore and India ........ will be back on 7th Inshallah. This is the 1st time i will do my eid in somwhere else. Im so excited and sad at the same time. :o

wow. having eid while traveling. thats good. it's a new trend in our society to go abroad to spend the time during eid. I guess people has become too busy during the whole year. it's all good.

Nice one looneybaba. But I personally do not like the idea of spending eid elsewhere. I mean eid is a holiday more about family friends and relatives rather than partying all night (like 31st) so I would not like to spend my eid outside the country. Anyways. I hope looneybaba has a great time in India. Get em autographs from the idiotic idols while you are there!

Bout government jobs. Foreign ministry does carry around a lot of respect but I personally do not like government jobs. My dad is in government service himself and I have seen enuff. He could have done a lot better if he didn't join the government service OR if he had been a bribe-taking, corrupt-to-the-core, minister 'fulafying' officer! No offence looneybaba! :-)

sort of. I have my cousins who live about 2 hrs drive from here. So, after the exam, i will go their place. But the problem is.. my exam ends at 8.30pm at night.. :(, so the chances of getting bus is very less !

thats the eid here. no one to share, no one to care, no one to talk to.

I had an eid alone when my dad was in delhi for heart surgery with my mom there also. I was stuck in dhaka with my sis. Worst eid i ever had even though i ws with my cousins still missed my parents and was quite worried abt dad

my eid was hilarious. I told my team lead if i could get an early leave that day to say the prayers. there was a big NO. Ok , but she being a muslim made sure that she could go to the prayer. I thought i wouldnt not get any Eid mubarrak from anyone. So i went straight to subway from work to have my eid food, since it is said that you should have something good to eat. I had my subway and went to home and got the message from my cousin to come and eat khichuri, murgi and semai. I went there and had khichuri for eid for the first time in 3 years.

Inshallah, next ramadan and eid would be in bangladesh, done deal!.

My eid day was a totally different experience...

Had an exam on eid-day,so studied till 7.00 am in morning and went to bed. Woke up at 11.00 and rushed to class at 11.30, completed all classes at 2.30, Made some last minute revision and started the exam at 4.30. After completing exam, returned home around 8.30 at night. Had bread jelly the whole day.. :), and a beef-kabab roll on the campus .:D

We always do our eid on sunday

usual routine went to the mosque with mom and dad in the morning. After tht dad goes for his work me at school . Mom at home :(


Some dads friend come on sunday .Thats it. Usually my eid is like tht .

I remember last time was so busy with study and some other stuff . Even i forgot 2day is eid . But we canceled one class for our eid. We requested some of our professor :)

Dont know abt this eid . But hopefully will be ok :roll:

After went to little italy wid friends . We were roaming around.Little Italy is a nice place to hang out ofcourse for young ppl. Tjis place is pretty famouse among young couples . It has a shade of italy,Italian food . Then came home at 4 pm .i was so tired fall aslep . Just wake up. Now waiting for some guest to arrive ......they will hav dinner wid us . It was a nice eid for me . I enjoyed a lot .....last nite .Now i will eat all of da fooddddd.....yumi yumiiiii
