well the thing is simple....u put in the object's name and others try to find prices and tell you....well
I wanna buy a new pc...the specifications are
Hard Disk-160 gb(probably Maxtor...or is there any other better brand?)
Ram-512 mb
DVD rom(Which brand is good?)
DVD writer(again..tell me guys which brand to buys)
Motherboard-Intel via chipset
Processor-celeron 2.66 ghz

Thats about it......so help me out guys

Samsung is a better brand for hard disk right now I think. And what you gonna do wid a celeron and 512 MB ram man? Go for pentium D and 1 GB ram at least. Combo drives will make your life easier but I won't recommend it because they tend to breakdown after a year or two. Try the BenQ drives. And about the price (which is what the topic is about), I can't help! :$

Naw but my point is...will the new PC be a replacement for your current one? Coz if you buying a new PC, then why not buy something powerful? I mean celeron is for office use. 512 MB RAM is good enough for windows XP only.

About dvd writers, am not sure which brand is good in Bangladesh right now. I will ask around a bit. In the meantime I hope more members come to your aid. This place is full of CSE freaks. Where are they now? :|

huh.. CSE is not study field of hardware prices or specification. it needs only market place surveying to get updated.

what CSE ppl can do in this case is they can build a global market price database/data-sharing system but I'm sure Bangladeshi sellers are not interested into automated or online stuffs at this moment. they always try to make more profit in traditional face to face bargaining system. :/
