Bangladesh needs better man that Parvez Mosharrof; some1 who is not greedy for power or weak for something. election can be held under anything, that thing has to be neutral; not a procedural setup.

in that case election can be held under no organization; that means caretaker govt. would deal with all other things and do management stuffs for election including preparation, providing security etc etc.

but in each district election can be help openly where vote casting would be broadcasted (live) in TV channels. a voter does not have to show which party s/he is voting for but a live statistics would be shown that "these" amount of vote was casted. if 20-50 voter cast vote in 5-10 minutes and live statistics is updated session-wise, then it would not be easy to figure out who voted for whom at that particular moment. [ensuring a voter is not beaten by opposition party later :p ] and a winner for that area can be elected automatically!

this is just a rough idea. we do have internet connections, mobile companies, tv channels. using these technologies we can get rid of these "bitorkito" 90's voting system under "bitorkito" panel.

Good thing that the President stepped down as the CA. Now his powers are basically the control of the army. Mounting pressure from the foreign quarters as well. UN shutting down their office and EC postponing their poll activities. This is something the president should have done looong ago.

I understand the situation with the curfew. To keep things in control during the night. But what I dont realize is the restrictions on the media, why arent the tv channels allowed to telecast any news?
